Crowns and bridges require two office visits to complete. During your first visit, Dr. Chason takes an impression of your teeth to create your crown or bridge. He must also prepare your tooth by removing a portion of enamel so the crown fits snugly over your natural tooth.

If you need a root canal or other restorative dentistry service, Dr. Chason can complete it during your visit. He can also place temporary crowns before your custom-made ones are ready.

When you return to the office for your next appointment, Dr. Chason places the crown or bridge in your mouth and makes adjustments for your comfort.

After your crown or bridge is in place, you care for them just like your regular teeth by brushing and flossing daily. You can also protect your crown or bridge long-term by keeping up with your preventive dentistry visits every six months.
